Yoga on the Beach

We are fortunate to enjoy such a beautiful, east-facing bay in Swanage – a great place to wake up with the rising sun

I am happy to lead a simple, refreshing morning mobility and yoga practice on the beach

If you think you might be interested, please get in touch – I look forward to seeing you on the beach..!

What you can expect to do

My aim is to help you improve your mobility, balance and breathing in a relaxed and supportive environment

We will enjoy three core elements together – a mobility warm-up; a yoga flow practice; and a playful balance workshop

There will be familiar moves every day to build consistency, and variety to keep it interesting

Is Yoga right for me?

Yoga is suitable for almost everyone, but if you are new to exercise, or if you have had a recent injury or illness, then please check with your doctor

The practice will be suitable for both newcomers to yoga and those with some experience

I am only able to accept adults over 18 years old

I am unable to accept pregnant women in the Classes

How to book your practice

I will send out a What’s App message each Friday for you to book for the following week

We welcome a maximum of 20 people for each class

You can dip in and out as often as you like – feel free to join me once a year, or every morning

Before your first practice, I will send you a copy of the Terms & Conditions, plus a Liability Waiver to complete and return

Things to bring along

Please don’t bring a mat – they don’t work on sand, and we will spend the practice on our feet

Footwear will protect you against beach debris – sandals, trainers or beach shoes are fine

You don’t need special clothes – just something that allows you to move and keeps you warm

Water would be good, and sunglasses on bright days

Sun-cream is probably a little optimistic

A bit about me

I discovered Yoga as a way to get my health back on track after 35 years sat at a desk

I trained and qualified as a trauma-informed yoga teacher with the Yoga Therapy Institute in France in 2024

I am registered with Yoga Alliance Professionals and have a Sports Licence from Swanage Town Council, allowing me to teach on the beach

You can find me on Swanage beach most mornings – feel free to come and say hello 🙂
